Guest Star: Kyouichi Sudou

Kyouichi had prepared a simple meal for two, something she was sure to enjoy. The fact that he was a brilliant chef aside, making some salad and pasta was easy. His mother would be proud. She would’ve loved for him to have followed in her footsteps rather than in his father’s, being disappointed in the fact that both her daughters were more inclined to making their café look pretty (along with what their waiters and waitresses were wearing) rather than to make sure that the food was as good as it should be. Apparently only Kyouichi had inherited her cooking talent.

After a lovely dinner, he put the movie in and watched for an opening. He’d watched the Ring 2 before and found it mediocre, she, however, hadn’t and didn’t want to watch it alone. Heh, typical horror movie viewing date. He’d wait for her to squeak and hold onto him, and he’d hold her protectively. Halfway through the movie, she was curled up against him. If she wasn’t there, surely he’d already fallen asleep. But girls had a way for making movies more interesting. He snuggled into her forehead as she yelped, Samara looming over Rachel menacingly before dissolving back into the boy. Soon the movie ended and the credits started rolling. Yuzuki sighed into him and relaxed...

[Yuzuki: I’m not sure if I still want to watch the sequel… I don’t think I’ll be able to sleep if I do…]

/Now, that’s an idea…/

*laugh* Well, fortunately, I predicted that…

[Yuzuki: *pout* Ha-ha…]

Yep, haha… Anyway, I borrowed a few more movies I thought you might like. If you find something you watch to watch, we can see that instead. *pulls our plastic bag from side and presents it* I’ll get some ice cream.

[Yuzuki: *eyes brighten with excitement* Ice cream? *grin*]

Yeah, ice cream. *heads over to kitchen to serve out the desert*

Once in the kitchen, he glanced back to watch her pour the DVDs out on the coffee table and sort through them one by one, reading the summary of each movie. Just as he scooped out his own slightly smaller serving, the phone, her cell phone started playing some Jpop song.

[Yuzuki: Hello? *pause* Yes, so what is it, Nekomi?]

*walks back to living room* *moves some DVDs out of the way* *places bowls on table* *sits down next to Yuzuki*

[Yuzuki: Don’t you think you should try to resolve this on your own? It has been a month… *pause* Or do you intend to do drinking again, and want us to drive you back home, or something along the lines of that? You can be such a brat…]

*leans against one of the arm rests of the couch and pulls Yuzuki between legs*

/Who the hell is this?/

[Yuzuki: *sigh* Can’t you just call Ayase or Eichiro-kun? *pause* And what about Kyuzo? Last time I saw him, he was sharing the same sentiments as you…]

*starts eating ice cream*

[Yuzuki: *steals some from his spoon as she listens* You’re twenty-two… Don’t you have something else to do? Like a distraction? Or do you have no life?]

*snicker* 'That you have to call someone up early in the morning?' So, Yuzuki, what’s all this yelling about? You aren’t deaf, or are you? *gets elbowed fondly* *grunts*

[Yuzuki: No, I’m not deaf. Although she might think so… *winces at loud yelling* *holds phone a foot away*]

Who is it anyway?

[Yuzuki: My teammate. My really spastic teammate…]

Ah, that explains a lot…

[Yuzuki: I know it’s 12AM. I can read time, FYI. *holds phone closer now* *pause* He’s my friend. *steals another small chunk of ice cream and licks lips* He’s a really long time friend. Like longer than you’ve been alive. *pauses* Uhuh… We’re racers. We’re used to sleeping late.]

*nods* *continues to eat* *whispers* When are we going back to…

[Nekomi: Don’t think I didn’t hear that! Oh my God, Yuzuki! You’re fucking right now, aren’t you?!]

[Yuzuki: Uh, no. *rolls eyes* Do you think I’d answer my phone if I were?]

/Although…/

[Yuzuki: Fine, fine. Bye. *puts down phone* *sigh*]
